On behalf of Body Building Association of Kerala, I welcome you all supporters of Body Building in particular and Fitness in general on this website.
It is a singular pleasure for me to be serving the Body Building field in India, through the Body Building Association of Kerala (BBAK). It is a learning experience to be working along with towering personalities like Shri K Anandan (Former Mr. India), President BBAK, Shri. T V Pauly (Arjuna Awardee & former Mr. Asia), General Secretary and all other senior officials of BBAK.
The Body Building Association of Kerala was formed with the intention of promoting and propagating Body Building in Kerala and with a mission to steward, modernize and develop the sporting discipline of body building and Physiques sport in Kerala and in our country as well. Our aim of getting recognition was to promote the sport of body building by the Kerala State Sports Council and Government of Kerala, was fulfilled in 2012. Since then the body building scenario has changed drastically in Kerala, with tremendous increase in more number of participation from women athletes, better facilities for athletes during competitions, very good prize money to attract athletes, recruitment in various Government agencies and promotion and other incentives for athletes. In Kerala, Government of Kerala and Kerala State Sports Council not only extending valuable support in the promotion of this sport but also has assured Job for athletes who secure positions in the National Victory stand. The Body Builders are living example of addiction free life and inspires the youth of our Nation in healthy living.
Proudly say that, our organization draws the best talent from Kerala to give them exposure in National / International Field and provide opportunities for youth in Kerala and India as well. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank from the bottom of my heart all the supporters, sponsors, officials of Affiliated District Associations who have not only provided financial assistance to the sport but also encouraged these athletes to do wonder for the nation.
This was possible due to hard working team which supported Body Building Association of Kerala at every juncture. The Officials of Body Building Association of Kerala who have worked tirelessly for the promotion of the sport deserve all praise for their selfless devotion to this sport and in making / designing this website before the nation to provide wide publicity regarding Body Building in Kerala.
